Cyndi Frame
Here's my story:
I am first and foremost created to worship. The various roles I lead are just avenues to give glory to God everyday...all day. While being a mom, worship leader, marketing assistant, laundry queen, composer, chauffeur or concert artist, I am totally committed to "honor" mode. Some days I do it well...and other days I'm glad God provided a thing called grace. My job is to embrace it and pass it on.
Here's my history (a.k.a. credibility):
I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 1984 with a B.S. in Music Education and an M.R.S. degree. My husband, Tony and I have served in the church in various areas of music ministry for the past 24 years-- currently at Christian Fellowship Church in Ashburn, VA. Launching a solo artist career in August of '05 was a huge step of faith for me and truly a reminder of God's promise to provide and to prosper. Bookings now include gigs at churches, colleges and retreats in various regions of the United States. During the summer of 2005, I was selected to sing at the Nazarene General Assembly held in Indianapolis for a live audience of 25,000 people and webstreaming across the globe. What an awesome experience!! Even my grandma was impressed!
Here's my family:
My husband, Tony, is the love of my life and my best friend. He is a piano technician for Jordan Kitts Music and volunteers to sing on the weekends with me. Between work and supporting my crazy rehearsal schedule, he spends most of his free time in home improvement. Sweat equity. Gotta love it.
My son, Trevin, is a Sophomore at Olivet Nazarene University and is the drummer for the Jazz Band. He beats on things. He plays loud. Need I say more? Seriously, Trev is an awesome young man with a great talent, a committed heart and a gentle spirit. His current passions are music, movies, XBOX 360 and Guitar Hero! He allows me to be the bass player and we ROCK! I am extremely proud to be his mom. PS. He is single and adorable!
My daughter, Taylin, is a carbon copy of me. We totally get each other. She is a Junior in high school this year and has great success on the stage. Tay landed a lead role in a spring community theatre production of "Footloose". Whooo-Hoooo for the 80's!! She is also cast as a "Poppy" in her High School Fall Musical "The Wiz". She says, "I'm poppin'...that's how I roll". She shares the platform with me as a praise team vocalist at church and it won’t be long before she will “out sing” me-- simply because she lives, eats and breathes it. Maybe we’ll go on the road together…like the Judds. She is an incredible young woman who brings joy to my life. Someday, I hope to be exactly like her.
Here’s my passion:
To make music. I believe it’s exactly what I was created to do! My repertoire consists of contemporary Christian cover tunes, original compositions and parodies, as well as selections for praise and worship. Send an email or call if you’d like to talk to me about performing at a concert, retreat or a worship event. I’d love to share my gift with you.
